Yes french bulldogs do sleep a lot, especially when they are a few months old, or when they are old. During those early and late stages of their life, frenchies will sleep between 18 and 20 hours a day. And when they are in their prime of their life, they will sleep 14 to 16 hours each day. That is more than half a day, even for a healthy and strong french bulldog.
